St. Tammany,
colloquially known as the Northshore, began as a series of
rural towns, villages and farming communities. It has a long
history of folks with a real laissez-faire way of life.
The Society
is made up of a group of folks—probably just like
yourself—whose quest for knowledge about family history led
them to become part of this group. Whether you are a
first-time researcher or life-long genealogist, we hope you
